Backing up data to a USB storage device Applications Connect a USB storage device to your phone using a USB OTG cable. Make sure your phone can detect the USB storage device. 1. On the home screen, touch Tools > Backup. 2. Touch = > Back up to USB storage 3. Touch New backup. 4. Select the data you want to back up, and follow the onscreen instructions to back it up. 0 Backing up data to a USB storage device applies only to phones that support USB OTG cables. On the home screen, touch Tools > Backup. 2. Select the backup file you want to restore. You can use the files' backup time as a reference. 3. If the backup file has been encrypted, enter the password when prompted, and touch OK. 4. Select the data you want to restore, and touch Restore.
