4 BATTERY CHARGING D Rapid charging with the BC-121N+AD-106 The optional BC-121N allows up to 6 battery packs to be charged simultaneously. Charging time: Approximately 3.5 hours (with BP-232H) The following items are additionally required. • Six AD-106 charger adapters (purchase separately) • A power adapter or the DC power cable (OPC-656) Turn OFF the power Battery pack Transceiver Power adapter (Purchased separately) AD-106 charger adapters are installed in each slot. IMPORTANT: Battery charging caution Ensure the guide tabs on the battery pack are correctly aligned with the guide rails inside the charger adapter. (This illustration is described with the BC-160.) Tabs Guide rail CAUTION: When using the OPC-656 DC power cable NEVER reverse the polarity when connecting the OPC- DC power cable (OPC-656*) (Connect with a DC power supply; 656 to a power source. This will ruin the battery charger.
