Recording times and picture quality There are four preset recording quality modes: • XP - The highest quality setting, which provides about 1 hour of recording time on a DVD (4.7 GB). • SP - The default quality, which is sufficient for most applications and provides about 2 hours of recording time on a DVD (4.7 GB). • LP - A slightly lower video quality which provides about 4 hours of recording time on a DVD disc (4.7 GB). • EP - The lowest video quality, which provides about 6 hours of recording time on a DVD (4.7 GB).
