The corresponding speaker indicator turns off, H appears on the display, and sound can be heard from the headphones. 4 Rotate the INPUT SELECTOR knob or press the Input Selector button to select the input source, then turn on and set up the device that has been selected as the source to begin the playback. -OR- Press the MUTE button on the remote control to turn the sound off. "MUTE" flashes on the display. Press the MUTE button again to turn the sound back on. OR Adjusting the tone Adjusting the tone lets you increase or decrease the bass and/or treble tones of the music you are listening to. When TON CTRL is shown on the display, you can adjust the tone. When TON DIR is shown on the display, the tone cannot be adjusted. To adjust the tone: 1 Press the TONE button, then rotate the UP/DOWN knob until TON CTRL appears on the display. 1 Repeatedly press the TONE button to cycle through the available tone modes (BASS>TREBLE>TON CTRL). Adjusting the tone
