Operation Operation of Built-in Viewer (continued) Built-in Viewer Settings (continued) J Alarm (TCP Notification) K Alarm Port Number L Auto Alarm Clear M Cancel N OK When AOnB is selected, the [Alarm] button blinks when an alarm notification is sent from VN-C215V4U via TCP. In order to use this feature, it is necessary to set the alarm action for sending the notification to VN-C215V4U via TCP. Set the destination of the alarm action to the IP address of the computer that is used to operate the built-in viewer, and set the [TCP/UDP Port Number] item to the same number as the K[Alarm Port Number] item below. Setting in the [TCP/ UDP Data] is ignored by built-in viewer.(A Pg. 46) For setting the port number for receiving the alarm notification from VNC215V4U via TCP. For selecting the time out to turn off the blinking of [Alarm] button automatically. For canceling the changed settings and closing the setting screen. For saving the changed settings. Click [OK] to enable the new settings and restart the built-in viewer after closing the setting window. Memo: ● The settings of the built-in viewer are stored in the Cookie file. This setting screen is used to set the built-in viewer as a software on the computer, and not applied as settings to the VN-C215V4U unit. When settings are changed, press the [OK] button to exit and restart the viewer. Memo: Searching and deleting cookie files ● Enter the [Tools]-[Internet Options...][General] of the Internet Explorer and press the [Settings] button under [Temporary Internet Files]. A new [Settings] will appear. Press the [View Files...] button in this window. The [Temporary Internet Files] window opens up and a list of files will be displayed. The file named Acgi-bin/B in this list is the Cookie for the built-in viewer. ● Deleting this file also deletes the viewer settings. The viewer will start up in an initialized condition during the next launch. 78
