Connecting Wires to Terminals (KDC-X590) To use the steering wheel remote control feature, you need to an exclusive remote adapter (not supplied) matches your car is required. REM.CONT Steering remote control (Light Blue/ Yellow) To USB device USB connector Front left output (White) Front right output (Red) Rear left output (White) Rear right output (Red) SUB WOOFER • Do not remove the cap when you do not use the USB cable. The connector will cause the unit to malfunction if it gets in touch with any metallic part of the vehicle. • Fasten the connector with the tape so that the cable will not come off. Sub Woofer right output (Red) Sub Woofer left output (White) FM/AM antenna input To connect these leads, refer to the relevant instruction manuals. Fuse (10A) To Kenwood disc changer/ External optional accessory If no connections are made, do not let the wire come out from the tab. Wiring harness (Accessory1) When using the optional power amplifier, connect to its power control terminal. Depending on what antenna you are using, connect either to the control terminal of the motor antenna, or to the power terminal for the booster amplifier of the film-type antenna. Connect to the terminal that is grounded when either the telephone rings or during conversation. To connect the Kenwood navigation system, consult your navigation manual.
