BROIL ELEMENT OVEN TEMPERATURE SENSOR Outer Element Inner Element Outer Element Refer to page 4-27 for the procedure for accessing the broil element. 1. Unplug oven or disconnect power. 2. Set the ohmmeter to the R x 1 scale. 3. Touch the ohmmeter test leads across the wire connector terminals. The meter should indicate as shown below: Inner Element: The meter should indicate between 31 and 36 Ω. Outer Element: The meter should indicate between 53 and 59 Ω. Refer to page 4-28 for the procedure for accessing the oven temperature sensor. 1. Unplug oven or disconnect power. 2. Set the ohmmeter to the R x 1K scale. 3. Touch the ohmmeter test leads across the wire connector terminals. The meter should indicate approximately 1091 Ω @ 75°F (23.9°C). 5-8
