5 Maintenance Expected Life of CustomerReplaceable Wear Parts • Kodak Digital Science Feed Module 150 (150-sheet automatic paper feeder): 600,000 - 1,000,000 document pages • Kodak Digital Science Feed Module 250 (250-sheet automatic paper feeder): 600,000 - 1,000,000 document pages • Kodak Digital Science Separator Roller: 300,000 - 600,000 document pages • Kodak Digital Science White Imaging Lamp: up to 500 hours • Kodak Digital Science Red, Green, and Blue Imaging Elements: up to 300 hours NOTES: The composition of the roller materials was engineered to provide the ultimate in feeding reliability across the broadest range of document types, sizes, and thicknesses. Expected life figures are offered as guidelines for operations that follow the recommended scanner cleaning procedures in this chapter and that scan document types within the recommended paper types (refer to "Preparing Documents for Scanning" in Chapter 1, General Information). Your experience may vary. Certain paper types (such as carbonless paper), failure to clean regularly, and/or use of non-recommended cleaning solvents can shorten roller life. The inside of the scanner and certain replacement parts shown in this chapter may appear different from the ones you have. However, the actions described in the procedures are the same.
