Taking pictures and videos Changing picture-taking settings You can change settings to get the best results from your camera: 1 Press the Menu button. 2 Press to highlight the setting you wish to change, then press the OK button. 3 Choose an option, then press the OK button. 4 Press the Menu button to exit. NOTE: Some settings are unavailable in some modes. Setting Self Timer Put yourself in the picture or video. Icon Options See Putting yourself in the picture or video, page 16. Exposure Compensation (Still modes) Choose how much light enters the camera. This setting remains until you change it or exit the current capture mode. Burst (Still modes) Take up to 3 pictures in quick succession. This setting remains until you change it or turn off the camera. NOTE: The camera stops taking pictures when you release the Shutter button, when 3 pictures are taken, or when there is no more storage space. Exposure, focus, white balance, and orientation are set for the first picture and applied to all pictures. Flash and Self Timer are disabled when Burst is on. If pictures are too dark, increase the value. If pictures are too light, decrease the value. On Off (default) 14

You can change settings to get the best results from your camera:
