Enabling the scanner In order to scan documents, the scanner must be enabled. This is done using the capture application software. When the scanner is enabled, the following screen is displayed. Lowering the elevator Enabled - Image Addressing - off Enabled - Image Addressing - on Use the Lower Elevator option whenever you need to make additional room in the elevator tray for adding documents to stack. Enabling the scanner
In order to scan documents, the scanner must be enabled. This is done
using the capture application software. When the scanner is enabled,
the following screen is displayed.
Lowering the elevator
Use the Lower Elevator option whenever you need to make additional
room in the elevator tray for adding documents to stack. The elevator
will descend to the bottom (500-sheet position) whenever this option is
used.
