Troubleshooting Symptom Checkpoints Corrective Actions Printouts are too dark. Copies have a moire pattern (dots grouped together in patterns and not aligned uniformly). Printouts are not clear. Dirt on the print side of the paper. Printouts are fuzzy. Have you changed the density? - - - Is the original a printed photograph? Did you choose appropriate image quality for the original? Is the platen or the document processor dirty? Is the conveying guide dirty? - - Is the machine being used in very humid conditions? - Select appropriate density level. Run [Calibration]. Run [Drum Refresh1]. Run [Developer Refresh]. Set the image quality to [Printer Output] or [Book/Magazine] in [Photo]. Select appropriate image quality. Clean the platen or the document processor. Clean the conveying guide. Run [Drum Refresh1]. Run [Developer Refresh]. Use in an environment that has suitable humidity. Run [Drum Refresh1].
