This feature allows you to lock your settings to prevent children from changing them. You can also use the child lock feature to prevent unintended cycle or option changes during dryer operation. To enable the Child Lock feature: Press and hold DRY LEVEL for 3 seconds. A single BEEP Tone is heard, and CL is displayed. To unlock, press and hold DRY LEVEL for 3 seconds. The indicator light turns off. Select the drying cycle that matches the type of load you are drying. (See Sensor Dry or Manual Preset Cycle Settings charts.) Sensor Dry Cycles allow you to match the cycle to the load you are drying. Each cycle dries certain fabrics at the recommended temperature. When a Manual Cycle is selected, the ESTIMATED TIME REMAINING display shows the actual time remaining in your cycle. You can change the actual time in the cycle by pressing MORE TIME or LESS TIME. • Speed Dry Use for small loads or loads that need a short drying time. • Air Dry Use the Air Dry Modifier for items that require drying without heat such as rubber, plastic and heat-sensitive fabrics. • Time Dry Use this cycle to complete drying if items are still damp after an Sensor Dry Cycle.
