Replacing the CPU

Type 2-4 screws. Step 8. Line up the new heatsink then secure it to the motherboard with the screws. Step 9. Attach the system fan to the new heatsink. Step 10. Reattach the EMI cover, back deco, the computer cover and computer stand. Replacing the CPU Note: Turn off the computer and wait 3 to 5 minutes to let it cool down before removing the cover. Note: It may be helpful to place the computer face-down on a soft flat surface for this procedure.
