Loading thick media on the scanner glass 1 Open the scanner lid. 2 Place the thick media facedown on the scanner glass. Close the scanner lid. 3 Touch Preview. The Instant Preview screen appears. Warning-Potential Damage: Loading media that are more than 10 mm thick may cause damage to the scanner lid.
