Setting the printer up in a new location To set up your printer configuration again: 1 Unpack all items. 2 Select a proper location for the printer. For a basic printer, or a printer with an optional finisher, allow the following recommended amount of space around the printer: 1 50 mm (2 in.) 2 825 mm (2.7 ft) 3 418 mm (1.4 ft) 4 100 mm (4 in.) 5 1750 mm (5.8 ft) 3 Complete the setup of the printer and scanner by completing the "Setting up the printer" chapter in the Setup Guide. 4 Verify that the printer and scanner are functioning properly by printing a menu settings page. Shipping the printer If shipping the printer, the scanner, and any options, save the original packaging or call the place of purchase for a relocation kit. Disassemble all the items before packing. Setting the printer up in a new location
To set up your printer configuration again:

Unpack all items.

Select a proper location for the printer. For a basic printer, or a printer with an optional finisher, allow the following
