Chart Measuring Distances on Chart page Use the Measure feature from the Chart menu to measure distances between yourself and another location on the Chart page or between two different points. To select/deselect Measure feature: 1. From the Chart page press the MENU key. The Chart menu will appear. 2. From the Chart menu select Measure. 3. When the cursor is on screen the cursor coordinates window will display distance from your position to the cursor position on the Chart page. 4. To measure distance between two different points on the Chart page, place the cursor over a point and press ENTER, an X will appear on the Chart page. Distance will be measured from the X on the Chart page to wherever the cursor is placed on screen. Search by Coordinates To search for Chart page POI using coordinates: 1. From the Chart page press the MENU key. The Chart menu will appear, select Find. The Find menu will appear. 2. From the Find menu select Coordinate. The Find Coordinate keypad will appear. Use the keypad to enter the desired coordinates and select OK. Find Chart item To search for specific Chart page item: 1. From the Chart page press the MENU key. The Chart menu will appear, select Find. The Find menu will appear. 2. From the Find menu select Chart Items. The Find - Chart Items screen will appear. Select Name, a keypad will appear. Use the keypad to enter the name of the chart item and select OK. 40

Measuring Distances on Chart page
Use the Measure feature from the Chart menu to measure distances between your-
self and another location on the Chart page or between two different points.
To select/deselect Measure feature:
From the Chart page press the

key. The Chart menu
will appear.
From the Chart menu select

When the cursor is on screen

To measure distance between two different points on the Chart

To search for Chart page POI using coordinates:
From the Chart page press the

keypad to enter the desired
coordinates and select
OK
.
Find Chart item
To search for speciļ¬c Chart page item:
From the Chart page press the

key. The Chart menu will
appear, select
Find
. The Find menu will appear.
From the Find menu select

Chart Items
. The Find - Chart Items
screen will appear. Select
Name
, a keypad will appear. Use the
keypad to enter the name of the chart item and select
OK
