MS-7576 Mainboard Buttons The motherboard provides the following button for you to set the computer's function. This section will explain how to change your motherboard's function through the use of button. Clear CMOS Button: CLR_CMOS1 There is a CMOS RAM on board that has a power supply from external battery to keep the system configuration data. With the CMOS RAM, the system can automatically boot OS every time it is turned on. If you want to clear the system configuration, use the button to clear data. Press the button to clear the data. CLR_CMOS1 Important Make sure that you power off the system before clearing CMOS data. Power Button: POWER1 This power button is used to turn-on or turn-off the system. Press the button to turnon or turn-off the system. This button will light after you power-on the system, and the light will turn-off when you power-off the system. POWER1 Reset Button: RESET1 This reset button is used to reset the system. Press the button to reset the system. This button will light when the system is in S0 status. 2-18 RESET1
