BIOS Setup Parallel Port This field specifies the base I/O port address of the onboard parallel port. Selecting Auto allows AMIBIOS to automatically determine the correct base I/O port address. Settings: [Auto], [Disabled], [378], [278], [3BC]. Parallel Port Mode This item selects the operation mode for the parallel port. Settings: [Normal], [Bi-Dir], [EPP], or [ECP]. EPP Version The item selects the EPP version used by the parallel port if the Parallel Port Mode is set to [EPP] mode. Settings: [1.7], [1.9]. IRQ When Parallel Port is set to [Auto], the item shows Auto indicating that BIOS determines the IRQ for the parallel port automatically. DMA Channel This feature needs to be configured only when Parallel Port Mode is set to the [ECP] mode. When Parallel Port is set to Auto, the field will show [Auto] indicating that BIOS automatically determines the DMA channel for the parallel port. 3-17
