To remove the filter assembly, grab the handle of the fine filter, rotate it counter clockwise, and then pull the filter in an upward direction. 1) Rotate the fine filter counter clockwise. 2) Lift fine filter up. 3) Lift main filter up. Open ① ② ③ NOTE: Reverse the above procedure to reinstall the filter. SUMMARY: A) Inspect and clean the filters after every dishwashing use. B) By unscrewing the coarse filter you can remove the filter system. Remove any food remnants and clean the filters under running water. Never run the dishwasher without the filters installed. Improper replacement of the filters may reduce overall performance of the appliance, and subsequently damage dishware and utensils. The entire filter system should be cleaned at least once a week. When cleaning the filters do so carefully, otherwise filters may lose their shape, degrading the performance and overall effectiveness of the dishwasher. CLEANING THE SPRAY ARM It is necessary to clean the spray arm regularly for hard water chemicals that can clog the spray arm jets and bearings. Wash the arm in warm, soapy water using a soft brush to clean the jets. Lift spray arm up and out to clean Dishwasher Spray Arm 22
