Operation (Automatic and Manual modes) Activating/changing the OdorFree Charcoal Filter operating hours counter The OdorFree Charcoal Filter is required for extraction mode. The operating hours counter for the OdorFree Charcoal Filter requires onetime activation and must be set to match your cooking habits.  Press the On/Off button  to turn the fan off.  Tap the delayed shut-down button  and the OdorFree Charcoal Filter but‐ ton  at the same time. The OdorFree Charcoal Filter symbol  and one of the fan setting indicators will flash. The indicators 1 to IS show the current time setting: Indicator 1 120 hours Indicator 2 180 hours Indicator 3 240 hours Indicator IS deactivated  Tap the relevant button to select the time required.  Confirm your choice by tapping the OdorFree Charcoal Filter button . All the indicator lights go out. If the setting is not confirmed within 4 minutes, the old setting is retained. Checking the filter saturation indica‐ tor Before the set operating time has run out, you can check what percentage of the time has elapsed.  Press the On/Off button  to turn the fan on.  Press and hold the grease filter but‐ ton  or the OdorFree Charcoal Fil‐ ter button . One or more of the power level indica‐ tors will flash. The number of flashing indicators shows the elapsed operating hours as a percentage. Indicator 1 25% Indicators 1 and 2 50% Indicators 1 to 3 75% Indicators 1 to IS 100% The elapsed operating hours remain stored in the memory when the hood is turned off or if power to the appli‐ ance is lost. 24
