Condensate trap Exhaust duct In addition to insulating the exhaust duct, we recommend installing a con‐ densate trap to collect and evaporate any condensate which might accumu‐ late. Condensate traps are available for ex‐ haust ducts with a diameter of 5" (125 mm) or 6" (150 mm).  When installing a condensate trap, make sure that it is positioned verti‐ cally and, if possible, directly above the hood outlet duct collar. The arrow on the housing indicates the direction of airflow. 47

Condensate trap
