Question Has the phone been damaged, dropped, or gotten wet? Was a non-Motorola battery or battery charger used? Answer Dropping your phone, getting it wet, or using a non-Motorola battery or battery charger can damage the phone. The phone's limited warranty does not cover liquid damage or damage caused from using non-Motorola accessories. The following refer to specific problems: Problem My phone was stolen. To whom should I report this? I forgot my password. I pressed the power key, but nothing happened. Solution Report a stolen phone to the police and to your service provider (the company that sends you your monthly wireless service bill). See page 135. Be sure to press and hold P (the power key) until the display appears and you hear an alert. This could take several seconds. If nothing happens, check that a charged battery is installed.
