Using Optical IN Mode Connection 1. Follow the figure below to make the connections. 2. Turn the unit on. Press the STANDBY/SOURCE [7] until the SOURCE LED indicator turns indigo. Not all entertainment systems are setup the same way; the diagram below is only an example of a simple setup. Operate the external device as directed by its manufacturer to control playback. This optical connection only supports the uncompressed PCM signal format. You may need to adjust the digital output format of your source device; contact the device manufacturer to learn more.
