Command Line Interface Reference for the ProSafe 7200RS Series Layer-2 Stackable Switches GVRP Default Priority this frame is associated. In a tagged frame, the VLAN is identified by the VLAN ID in the tag. In an untagged frame, the VLAN is the Port VLAN ID specified for the port that received this frame. When disabled, all frames are forwarded in accordance with the 802.1Q VLAN bridge specification. The factory default is disabled. May be enabled or disabled. The 802.1p priority assigned to tagged packets arriving on the port. 6.3 Double VLAN Commands This section describes the commands you use to configure double VLAN (DVLAN). Double VLAN tagging is a way to pass VLAN traffic from one customer domain to another through a Metro Core in a simple and cost effective manner. The additional tag on the traffic helps differentiate between customers in the MAN while preserving the VLAN identification of the individual customers when they enter their own 802.1Q domain. 6.3.1 dvlan-tunnel etherType This command configures the ether-type for the specified interface. The ether-type may have the values of 802.1Q, vMAN, or custom. If the ether-type has a value of custom, the optional value of the custom ether type must be set to a value from 0 to 65535. Default vman Format dvlan-tunnel etherType [0-65535] Mode Interface Config 6.3.2 mode dot1q-tunnel This command is used to enable Double VLAN Tunneling on the specified interface. Note: When you use the mode dot1q-tunnel command on an interface, it becomes a service provider port. Ports that do not have double VLAN tunneling enabled are customer ports.
