User's Guide for the WAB102 802.11a+b Dual Band Wireless Access Point 802.11a+b Standards-based Wireless Networking The WAB102 Wireless Access Point provides a bridge between Ethernet wired LANs and both 802.11a and 802.11b compatible wireless LAN networks. It provides connectivity between Ethernet wired networks and radio-equipped wireless notebook systems, desktop systems, print servers, and other devices. The WAB102 802.11 a+b Dual Band Wireless Access Point supports the following hardware functions: • External dual-band antenna assembly to support antenna diversity • Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) data encryption accomplished on the fly • Firmware stored in flash to allow easy firmware upgrade. 802.11a+b Standards-based Wireless Networking
The WAB102 Wireless Access Point provides a bridge between Ethernet wired
LANs and both 802.11a and 802.11b compatible wireless LAN networks. It
provides connectivity between Ethernet wired networks and radio-equipped
wireless notebook systems, desktop systems, print servers, and other devices. The
WAB102 802.11 a+b Dual Band Wireless Access Point supports the following
hardware functions:
