This field displays the router firmware version. These parameters apply to the Wireless port of the router. This field displays the wireless network name (SSID) being used by the wireless port of the router. The default is NETGEAR-TRAVEL. This field displays the geographic region where the router being used. It may be illegal to use the wireless features of the router in some parts of the world. Identifies if the channel the wireless port is using. See "Wireless Channels" on page D-2 for the frequencies used on each channel. Identifies if the 802.11 mode: g and b; g only; b only. Identifies if the access point is on. Identifies if the access point is broadcasting the SSID. These parameters apply to the wireless LAN (WLAN) port of the router. This field displays the Media Access Control address being used by the WLAN port of the router. This field displays the IP address being used by the WLAN port of the router. The default is 192.168.0.1 Identifies if the router's built-in DHCP server is active for the WLAN attached devices. This field displays the IP Subnet Mask being used by the WLAN port of the router. Description
Hardware version
This field displays the hardware version of the router.
Firmware Version
This field displays the router firmware version.
Wireless Access Point
These parameters apply to the Wireless port of the router.
Name (SSID)
This field displays the wireless network name (SSID) being used by the
wireless port of the router. The default is NETGEAR-TRAVEL.
Region
This field displays the geographic region where the router being used. It
may be illegal to use the wireless features of the router in some parts of
the world.
Channel
Identifies if the channel the wireless port is using. See
“Wireless
Channels” on page D-2
for the frequencies used on each channel.
Mode
Identifies if the 802.11 mode: g and b; g only; b only.
Wireless AP
Identifies if the access point is on.
Broadcast Name
Identifies if the access point is broadcasting the SSID.
Wireless LAN
(multi-user mode only)
These parameters apply to the wireless LAN (WLAN) port of the router.
MAC Address
This field displays the Media Access Control address being used by the
WLAN port of the router.
IP Address
This field displays the IP address being used by the WLAN port of the
router. The default is 192.168.0.1
DHCP
Identifies if the router’s built-in DHCP server is active for the WLAN
attached devices.
IP Subnet Mask
This field displays the IP Subnet Mask being used by the WLAN port of
the router. The default is 255.255.255.0
