Functions That Cannot Be Used Simultaneously When Shooting Some functions cannot be used with other menu options. Restricted function Option Continuous (A84) Flash mode Blink proof (A93) Underwater flash (A126) Self-timer Macro mode AF area mode (A88) AF area mode (A88) Image mode Continuous (A84) White balance Hue (Using the creative Slider) (A43) Continuous Self-timer (A46) Description When a setting other than Single is selected, the flash cannot be used. When Blink proof is set to On, the flash cannot be used. When Underwater flash is set to On, Auto with red-eye reduction cannot be selected. If Auto with red-eye reduction was selected beforehand, the setting changes to Auto. When Subject tracking is selected, the self-timer cannot be used. When Subject tracking is selected, macro mode cannot be used. Image mode is set as follows depending on the continuous shooting setting: • Pre-shooting cache: M (image size: 1280 × 960 pixels). • Continuous H: 120 fps: O (image size: 640 × 480 pixels) • Continuous H: 60 fps: M (image size: 1280 × 960 pixels) When Hue is adjusted using the creative slider, White balance setting is not available in the shooting menu. If the self-timer is used when Preshooting cache is selected, the setting is fixed at Single. Shooting Features 56
