Appendix Memory Card Capacity and Image Quality/Size The following table shows the approximate number of photographs that can be recorded on a 1GB memory card at different image quality and size settings1. All figures are approximate; actual file size and memory card capacity may vary with scene recorded and make of memory card. When matrix metering is used, values over 161/3 EV are reduced to 161/3 EV. 178
