Difficult-to-focus subjects The following subjects may be difficult to focus. Use the focus lock ( p. 16) to focus on another subject equidistant from the camera, then compose the picture to shoot. Subjects too small to fully cover the autofocus frame mark. Subjects behind glass. Dark subjects with no reflection. Glossy, lihgt-reflecting surfaces, such as shiny cars or water. Subjects without solid content (i.e., candle flame, fireworks, etc.). Secondary subjects are closer to the camera than the main subject. Advanced Operations 17
