Camera Camera To activate the main camera, press and hold the capture key, or press , and select Applications > Camera. To close the main camera, press Exit. About the camera Your Nokia N95 8GB has two cameras, a highresolution camera on the back of the device (the main camera, up to 5 megapixels, in landscape mode) and a lower resolution camera on the front (the secondary camera in portrait mode). You can use both cameras to take still pictures and record videos. Your device supports an image capture resolution of 2592x1944 pixels. The image resolution in this guide may appear different. You can send images and video clips in a multimedia message, as an e-mail attachment, or by using other connection methods, such as Bluetooth connectivity or wireless LAN connection. You can also upload them to a compatible online album. See "Share images and videos online", p. 81. To optimise the size of the image or video clip for sending, select the proper image or video quality from the camera settings. Check the size limits of MMS and e-mail messages with your service provider. Image capture To activate the main camera, press and hold the capture key, or press , and select Applications > Camera. The images and video clips are automatically saved in Images & videos in Gallery. The cameras Still image camera indicators produce .jpeg images. Video clips are recorded in The still image camera viewfinder displays the the MPEG-4 file format with the .mp4 file extension, following: or in the 3GPP file format with the .3gp file extension (sharing quality).
