When the phone lock is on, you can not access most of your phone's memory and menu features, or make phone calls without entering the lock code. Turning on phone lock Press Menu 4 3 2 1 (Settings - Security settings - Access codes - Phone lock). Enter the lock code then press OK. Then scroll to On, and press OK again. When your phone is locked, calls may be possible to the emergency number programmed into your phone (e.g. 911 or other official emergency number) including calls with Emergency key 9 (page 35). You can also store a number in the Unlocked phone number location, which allows you to call this number even though your phone is locked (see page 70 for details).
