Note: The information or services you have accessed are stored in the cache of your phone. A cache is a buffer memory, which is used to store data temporarily. If you have tried to access or have accessed confidential information requiring a password (for example, your bank account), empty the cache of your phone after each use. To empty the cache, select Services, then select Clear the cache. • SET UP FOR BROWSING You should not need to do anything to set up your phone for browsing. Your service provider usually modifies the appropriate settings when you subscribe to the feature. Contact your service provider if you have problems using the browser. • SIGN ON TO THE INTERNET Use the Services menu to connect to the Internet, if you have a wireless internet service provider. 1 At the Start screen, press Menu 10 (Services). 2 Choose Home, then press Select. Your phone asks if you accept charges and then connects to the Internet and to your service provider's home page. • The message Connecting to service appears on the screen until the connection is complete. • If you see the message Check service settings, the phone may not be set up for browsing.
