Calls Calls Make a call Speed dialling • Enter the phone number, including the area code, and press the call key. • Call from a list of numbers last called by pressing the call key. • Call from a Contacts name or number. See "Contacts" p. 27. For international calls, press * twice for the international prefix (the + character replaces the international access code), enter the country code, the area code without the leading 0, if necessary, and the phone number. To increase or decrease the volume during a call, press the scroll key up or down. Answer or reject a call To answer a call, press the call key. To end the call, press the end key. To reject a call, press the end key. To mute the ringing tone, select Silence. Then answer or reject the call. To assign a number to one of the speed-dialling keys, 2 to 9: 1 Select Menu > Contacts > Speed dials. 2 Scroll to the speed-dialling number that you want. 3 Select Assign, or if a number has already been assigned to the key, select Options > Change. 4 Select Search and the contact you want to assign. If the Speed dialling function is off, the phone asks whether you want to activate it. Select Menu > Settings > Call > Speed dialling > On or Off. To call a number press and hold a speed-dialling key until the call begins. Enhanced voice dialling You can make a phone call by saying the name that is saved in the contact list of the phone.
