Applications To adjust the volume, use the volume key. Stream content over the air Many service providers require you to use an internet access point (IAP) for your default access point. Other service providers allow you to use a WAP access point. In RealPlayer, you can only open an rtsp:// URL address. However, RealPlayer will play a .ram file if you open an http link to it in Browser. To stream content over the air, select a streaming link saved in Gallery, on a web page, or received in a text message or multimedia message. Before live content begins streaming, your device connects to the site and starts loading the content. Only the link to the content is saved in your device. RealPlayer settings You may receive RealPlayer settings in a special message from the service provider. See 'Data and settings', p. 37. For more information, contact your service provider. Select Options > Settings and from the following: Video-to adjust the contrast of the video or have RealPlayer automatically repeat video clips after they finish playing. Streaming-Contact your service provider for the correct settings. Adobe Flash Player To view, play, and interact with compatible flash files made for mobile devices, press , and select Applications > Media > Flash Player. Scroll to a flash file, and press . IM-instant messaging Press , and select Applications > Media > IM. Instant messaging (network service) allows you to converse with other people using instant messages and join discussion forums (IM groups) with specific topics. Various service providers maintain IM servers that you can log in to after you register to an IM service. Service providers may differ in their support of features. Select Conversations to start or continue a conversation with an IM user; IM contacts to create, edit, or view the online status of your IM contacts; IM groups to start or continue a group conversation with multiple IM users; or Recorded chats to view a previous instant messaging session that you saved. 103
