Configuring UNIX Printing Software on a LINUX System 3. Enter a name for the filter. Press RETURN. If the filter name already exists, you will be prompted to overwrite it. If the filter name does not already exist, the following prompt appears: Enter the name of the printer: 4. Enter the name of the printer. Press RETURN. The following prompt appears: Enter the port of the print server. 5. Enter a port number for the print server. Press RETURN. Example: 6869 Note: This is the socket number that sdriver will use for connecting to the printer. The following prompt appears: Debug Mode [no, n, yes, y]: 6.
