Common Problems And Their Solutions POWER light is not lit Double-check the AC source and the power supply connections. Disconnect the cable between the printer and host, then restart the printer. If the POWER light becomes lit with the host disconnected, suspect a host computer or cabling problem. ERROR light is lit or flashing 1. If both ERROR and POWER indicators are flashing in unison, it means media error (media out or gap was not detected). 2. If ERROR and POWER indicators are flashing alternately, it means ribbon empty or ribbon not installed. 3. POWER is lit and ERROR is flashing 4. Flashing ERROR indicator: • Long OFF, shorter ON: Cover is open or there is problem in cover sensor. 16

POWER light is not lit
Double-check the AC source and the power supply connections.
