Taking still pictures 3 Press the shutter button gently (halfway) to adjust the focus. • When the focus and exposure are locked, the green lamp lights. • If the orange lamp lights, the flash fires automatically. 4 Press the shutter button all the way (fully). • The camera takes the picture, and a beep sounds. • When the green lamp stops blinking, you can take the next picture. • The orange lamp blinks while the picture is stored on the card. TIPS The monitor turns off automatically. Æ If the camera is not used for over 3 minutes, the monitor turns off 4 automatically. The lens retracts 5 minutes after that. Touch the shutter button or zoom button to turn the monitor on again. The monitor is hard to see. Æ Bright light, such as direct sunlight, may cause vertical lines to appear on the monitor screen. lamp lights.
If the orange lamp lights, the flash fires automatically.

TIPS
The monitor turns off automatically.
