Recording From Another Audio Device The recorder can record the sound played back by another device with a connecting cord. Recording From Another Audio Device 2 EAR 1 Make sure that the recorder has stopped. 2 Connect the recorder to the earphone jack on the other device 2 with a connecting cord. For recording monaural sound, use the optional connecting cord, KA232 ( P.98) and, for stereo sound, use a commercially available connecting cord with attenuation resistance. 3 Press and hold the MENU button for 1 second or longer. The menu opens ( P.43). 4 Press the FF or REW button until "EXT.INPUT" flashes on the display. 5 5 Press the PLAY button. The EXT.INPUT setup process begins. 3 4 29

Make sure that the recorder has
