V-CHIP Menu OPERATION U.S. MOVIES This TV model features the "V-Chip technology" which allows you to use Motion Picture Ratings when viewing movies or video tapes. This innovation allows parents to block various types of movies and video tapes at their discretion. PIP will also be blocked automatically. In U.S. MOVIES press to highlight STATUS. Press to display U.S. MOVIES RATING CHART. Proceed to the following adjustments. U.S. MOVIES RATING CHART 1 Press to select U.S. MOVIES. Press to select U.S. MOVIES ON or OFF. ON _ OFF 2 Press to select VIEW NR MOVIES?. select VIEW NR PROGRAMS? YES or NO. Note: Some movies are not rated for a variety of reasons. Old movies and foreign films are usually not rated. 3 Press to move between different ratings. Press to select ratings you would like to block (RED) and unblock (GREEN). Perform Step 3 for each rating. Note: See the U.S. MOVIES RATINGS CHART, U.S. MOVIES RATINGS CHART PG-13, R, NC-17 and Xwill be blocked. NR G PG PG-13 R NC-17 X CONTAINS NO RATING (NOT RATED) AND NA (NOTAPPLICABLE) PROGRAMS. Movie has not been rated or rating does not apply. GENERAL AUDIENCES. All ages admitted. PARENTAL GUIDANCE SUGGESTED. Some material may not be suitable for children. PARENTS STRONGLY CAUTIONED. Some material may be inappropriate for children under 13. RESTRICTED.
