Follow the procedures for programming your Remote Control with or without a code for the component. Determine the manufacturer of the component and look in the table for the code. 1 Confirm that the external component is plugged in and operating. 2 Turn the component off. 3 Press POWER and ACTION together, for at least 5 seconds.
