[Direct Connection Password] [ON]/[OFF] This setting controls whether or not a password is required when you directly connect this unit and a smartphone to start remote operations or to use the Wireless Twin Camera function. ≥ If you select [OFF], you can directly connect this unit and a smartphone without entering the password for this unit's SSID into the smartphone. ≥ If you select [OFF], you cannot set up a connection with [WPS Connection] or [QR code]. If your device is Android (non-NFC-compatible)/iOS, set up a connection by setting this unit's SSID on the smartphone. (l 181, 196) ≥ The default setting is [OFF]. If you perform [Reset Wi-Fi Settings], the default setting will be restored. (l 38, 188) [Wireless Sub Camera] You can use this unit as a Wireless Sub Camera. [ECONOMY (Wi-Fi)] [ON]/[OFF] If you set [ON], the LCD monitor turns off when remotely operating this unit with a smartphone (in Motion Picture Recording Mode or Still Picture Recording Mode) so that power consumption is reduced. ≥ When the LCD monitor is turned off, you can display the screen by touching it. ≥ If the Wi-Fi connection is turned off, this unit will turn off automatically approximately 15 minutes later. - 187 -
