[Pixels / Frame rate] You can switch the image quality of the motion pictures you record. Available [Pixels / Frame rate] differs depending on the [Recording Mode] setting. ≥ When [Recording Mode] is set to [Normal Shooting] (l 32): The greater the number is, the higher the image quality is. However, the file size also becomes greater. (l 52) [1920k1080/30p] Records motion pictures in full high-definition image quality. [1280k720/60p]/ [1280k720/30p] Records motion pictures with an image quality that enables you to upload them on the Internet in higher image quality. [848k480/30p] Records motion pictures with an image quality that enables you to upload them on the Internet faster. ≥ When [Recording Mode] is set to [Slow Motion] (l 32): [1280k720/60fps] Plays back at 1/2 times normal speed. (actual playback time is twice as long as the recorded time) [848k480/120fps] Plays back at 1/4 times normal speed. (actual playback time is four times as long as the recorded time) [Delay-Start Rec] You can start recording a motion picture approximately 3 seconds after pressing the recording start/ stop button. ≥ This item cannot be set in the Still Picture Recording Mode. [Microphone] You can set whether or not to record motion pictures with audio. ≥ This item cannot be set when the recording mode is set to Slow Motion Recording Mode or Still Picture Recording Mode. ≥ [Wind noise reduction] is not available when [Microphone] is turned off. [Wind noise reduction] This reduces noise of the wind picked up by the built-in microphone. ≥ This function is turned off by default. ≥ It may not reduce noise of the wind sufficiently, depending on the recording situation. ≥ This function is not available in Still Picture Recording Mode or when [Microphone] is turned off. [Interval rec mode] This is for recording still pictures at set intervals ([60 Seconds]/[30 Seconds]/[10 Seconds]/ [5 Seconds]). ≥ When [Interval rec mode] is selected, the recording mode lamps flash in approximately 1 second intervals (ON for approx. 0.5 seconds and OFF for approx. 0.5 seconds). These lamps light when you start recording. ≥ When this function is turned off, normal still pictures will be recorded. ≥ You cannot record normal still pictures in [Interval rec mode]. ≥ This mode is not available in [Normal Shooting], [Slow Motion] or [Loop Recording].
