∫ To delete motion pictures/still pictures stored in this unit or to copy them to the smartphone Delete or copy using ["Picture Share" Settings]. Touch and hold the thumbnail of the file you want to delete or copy, and drag and drop it into the picture jump tab [Trash (Delete)] or [Save to smartPH]. ≥ To delete all files, on the thumbnail screen, tap # [Delete all]. (When the thumbnails of MP4 images are displayed, files to be deleted are limited to all MP4 files; when the thumbnails of JPEG images are displayed, files to be deleted are limited to all JPEG files.) ∫ To set protection To prevent accidental deletion, you can set protection on motion pictures/still pictures stored on this unit. (If you format the microSD card, protected images will be deleted.) 1 Tap # [SCENE PROTECT]. ≥ When the playback screen is displayed, protection will be set for the motion picture/still picture being displayed. ≥ When thumbnails are displayed, the screen switches to Scene Protection Selection Mode. 2 (Only when thumbnails are displayed) Tap and select the scene for which you want to set protection. ≥ After selecting the scene, return to the previous screen to enable the protection. ≥ Copying motion picture files stored in this unit to a smartphone may not be possible depending on the smartphone you are using. ≥ If motion picture files have been copied to a smartphone, the thumbnails for them will be displayed, but playing them back may not be possible depending on the smartphone you are using. ≥ The thumbnail size of long files may differ from that of other motion pictures. ≥ Even if the connection between this unit and the smartphone is lost when "Image App" is in Playback Mode, "Image App" will start up in Recording Mode when they are reconnected. ≥ If this unit has been deleting files or formatting, the operation will continue even after the connection interruption. Do not remove the microSD card while the access lamp of this unit is lit/flashing. Playing back on a TV If your TV is equipped with an SD card slot that supports the playback of MP4 files, you can play back the files of motion pictures recorded with this unit by inserting the card into the slot. ≥ When inserting a microSD card into the SD card slot of a TV, always attach the microSD card to its dedicated adaptor. ≥ Please also refer to the operating instructions for the TV. - 36 -
