Sending Faxes Broadcast transmission! This feature is useful for sending the same document often to selected parties (up to 20 stations). First program the stations, then see page 39 for transmission. qThe broadcast function utilizes ONE-TOUCH DIAL 1-3. The one-touch dial function will be cancelled. qBROADCAST key 1 and 2 can accept ONE-TOUCH DIAL and SPEED DIRECTOR entries. MANUAL BROAD key can also accept manual dialing entries. Programming the stations 1 Press DIRECTORY PROGRAM . Display: PRESS STATION Using the dial keypad (only for MANUAL BROAD): Enter the fax number and press SET . OR USE SPD-DIR Example: DIR=3456789 2 For BROADCAST 1-2: Press the desired BROADCAST key. DIAL MODE DIR=3456789 [01] qTo enter other stations, repeat this step (up to 20 stations). Rotate SPEED DIRECTOR to select "BROADCAST". Example: BROADCAST 1 For MANUAL BROADCAST: Press MANUAL BROAD . DIAL MODE 5 Press SET after programming all of the desired stations. REGISTERED PRESS STATION Rotate SPEED DIRECTOR to select "MANUAL BROAD". MANUAL BROAD 3 Press SET . DIR= [00] 4 Enter stations. Using ONE-TOUCH DIAL 1-5: Press the desired ONE-TOUCH DIAL key. Example: DIR=ANN [01] OR USE SPD-DIR qTo program another broadcast key, repeat steps 2 to 5. 6 Press STOP to exit the program. MANUAL BROAD BROADCAST Display ONE-TOUCH DIAL SET Using ONE-TOUCH DIAL 6-10: Press LOWER , then press the desired ONE-TOUCH DIAL key. Example: DIR=Luke [01] Using SPEED DIRECTOR : Display the desired name and press SET .
