F Monitoring Monitoring feature This feature allows you to monitor the room where a unit is located. The monitored unit does not ring, allowing you to easily monitor a baby's room, for example, from different areas of the house. Audio monitor Enabling monitoring access Y^ To use the monitoring feature, you need to set the destination unit to be monitored beforehand. - "Permit": allows the unit to be monitored. - "Deny": denies access from other units. Handset 1 {MENU} (center of joystick) i h i {SELECT} 2 "Monitor access" i {SELECT} 3 Select the desired setting. (Default: "Deny") i {SAVE} i {OFF} Base unit 1 {MENU} i h i {SET} 2 "Monitor access" i {SET} 3 Select the desired setting. (Default: "Deny") i {SET} i {STOP} This feature allows you to listen to the audio in a room where the handset or base unit is located. Before using this feature, allow access to the destination unit by selecting "Permit" in the monitor access setting (page 40).
