Motor Safety Filter Changing ➢ Check motor safety filter occasionally and change when dirty. Rubber Retainer Retenue de caoutchouc Dispositivo de retención de goma WARNING Electrical Shock Hazard Do not operate the vacuum cleaner without the motor safety filter. Be sure the filter is dry and properly installed to prevent motor failure and/or electrical shock. ➢ Turn off and unplug vacuum cleaner. ➢ Lift rubber retainer and pull out motor safety filter as shown. ➢ Replace filter. ➢ White side is mounted facing the dust bag. ➢ Filter cannot be cleaned and should be replaced at least once a year. ➢ Insert bag and bag caddy. ➢ DO NOT CLEAN FILTER WITH WATER. ➢ DO NOT operate the vacuum cleaner without filter. - 42 -
