Motor Shaft Arbre du moteur Eje del motor Belt Courroie Correa Replacing Belt Belt Courroie Correa Agitator Agitateur Agitador ➢ Replace belt whenever a burning rubber smell caused by excessive slippage occurs. ➢ Remove lower plate. ➢ Remove agitator by carefully lifting out. ➢ Remove worn or broken belt. ➢ Loop new belt around motor shaft and brush pulley; see illustration for correct belt routing. End Cap Bouchon Tapa del extremo Agitator Agitateur Agitador ➢ Clean agitator and reinstall the two (2) end caps. ➢ Reinstall agitator back into nozzle housing grooves. ➢ After reinstalling the agitator, turn it by hand to make sure the belt is not twisted or pinched and that all rotating parts turn freely. Lower Plate Plaque inféreure Base inferior Front Slots Fentes avant Ranuras frontales ➢ Reinstall lower plate. Ensure tabs are locked into slots. - 42-
