Timer Setting This feature allows you to program the oven as a kitchen timer. It can be also used to program a stand time after cooking is finished or to program a delay start. To set Kitchen Timer: To set Delay Start: Example: To count down 5 minutes. 1. • Press once to select "Timer". Example: To delay the start of cooking for 5 minutes, and cook at P8 power for 3 minutes. 1. • Press once to select "Timer". 2. • Set time as 5 minutes by using Time/Serving/Weight dial. 2. • Set delay time as 5 minutes by using (up to 90 minutes) Time/Serving/Weight dial. (up to 90 minutes) 3. • Press Start button. ³ Time will count down without oven operating. To set Stand Timer: Example: To cook at P8 power for 3 minutes, with stand time of 5 minutes. 1. • Press 3 times to select "P8 power". 2. • Set the desired time as 3 minutes by using Time/Serving/Weight dial. 3. • Press once. 4. • Set stand time as 5 minutes by using Time/Serving/Weight dial. Oven will beep twice then cooking will start. Notes: 1. If the oven door is opened during Kitchen Timer, Stand Time, Delay Start, the time in the display window will continue to count down. 2. Stand Time and Delay Start cannot be programmed together with automatic function. This is to prevent the starting temperature of food from rising before defrosting or cooking begins. A change in starting temperature could cause inaccurate results and/or food poisoning. 5. • Press Start button. ³ Cooking will start. After cooking, stand time will count down without oven operating. Note: Oven will beep twice between each stage. 23
