System Requirements for PHOTOVU LINK Driver (Optional) • IBM PC/AT or compatible • Intel® Pentium® Processor • Microsoft Windows 98/98SE/ME/2000/XP • RAM: 16 MB or more • 2 MB minimum available hard disk space • 256 color monitor (full color recommended) • 3.5 inch 1.44 MB floppy disk drive (for installation) • RS-232C serial port (D-Sub 9-pin) An adaptor (D-Sub 9-pin male to a D-Sub female) is required for a D-Sub 25-pin • Mouse or other pointing device *Satisfy the conditions recommended by Microsoft for Windows. PC Connection 4 To PC Connector 2 RS-232C Serial port (D-Sub 9-pin) (Default is COM1.) PC Connecting Cable for Windows (optional: PC Connection Unit (PV-DRS2A, p46)) Connection 1 Turn off your PC. 2 Connect the Palmcorder to your PC (Windows) using the PC connecting cable (optional: PC Connection Unit (PV-DRS2A, p46)). • Before connecting the Palmcorder to the PC, make sure the PC power is off to insure that images are transferred properly. 3 Turn on your PC. 4 Set the Palmcorder POWER to VCR. Note • For extended periods of use, it is recommended to use the AC Adaptor as a power source. • Refer to PC or Windows manual to identify which COM port is to be used for connection. 43

Turn off your PC.

Connect the Palmcorder to your PC (Windows)
using the PC connecting cable
(optional: PC Connection Unit (PV-DRS2A, p46)).
• Before connecting the Palmcorder to the PC, make sure the PC
