Volume is reduced to minimum. To cancel Press [MUTING] again or reduce the volume to minimum (- - dB), then raise it to the required level. Muting is also canceled when the unit is turned off. Turning the display's light off Remote control only Press [SHIFT] r [LIGHT]. To turn the display's light on again, press [SHIFT] r [LIGHT]. Adjusting the display's contrast Remote control only 1 Press and hold [GUI DISPLAY] until "CONTRAST" appears on the display. 2 Press [3, 4]. The contrast changes (up to 20 steps) each time you press the button. Operating a television Remote control only You can use the remote control to operate a Panasonic television. Turning the television on/off Press [SHIFT] i [TV Í]. Switching the television's video input mode Press [SHIFT] i [TV/VIDEO]. Changing channels Press [SHIFT] i [X TV CH W]. Note Some models cannot be operated by this remote control. The sleep timer Remote control only This timer turns the unit off after a set time. Press [SLEEP] to select the (minutes). time Each time you press the button: SLEEP 30_--)SLEEP 60_--)SLEEP 90 ^-=SLEEP OFF(=SLEEP 120(_} To cancel the timer Press [SLEEP] to select "SLEEP OFF". To check the SLEEP setting Press [SLEEP] once. ≥The time remaining appears. To change the setting Press [SLEEP] to display the remaining time, then press again to select the required time. Using headphones 1 Reduce the volume and connect the headphones (not included). Headphone plug type: 3.5 mm (1/8z) stereo VOLUME DOWN UP PHONES Other functions 2 Adjust headphone volume with [VOLUME]. Audio is automatically switched to stereo (2-channel).
